Ordering temperatures

Mixing negative and positive numbers

Order the temperatures from hottest to coldest or coldest to hottest.

Be careful! Today there will be a mix of negative – and positive + numbers.

Remember that temperatures have + positive and – negative numbers.

The higher the + number the hotter the temperature is.

The higher the – number is the colder the temperature is.
