Sound Recap: Go over the sounds s a t p i n – can you find one item that begin with each of these sounds?
Watch my video and then play matching pairs (you need 2 of each sound).
Don’t forget to keep doing your food diary over the weekend.
Sensory number formation
Practise number formation by using sprinkles, glitter, sugar, sand, foam, paint, etc. Place on a flat surface such as a tray. Make number cards with number 0-5. Turn upside and ask your child to pick a card. They then need to name the number and then have a go at using their finger to write the number.
PSE
The caterpillar change into a butterfly at the end of the story. Can your child think of anything else that changes? Ask them – Do pets change? How? Do trees change? Have you changed?
Help your child recognise that all living things grow and change.
